PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: Who Can Apply: Eligibility
Employees (First-Time EPFO Entrants)
This benefit is designed for individuals entering the formal workforce for the first time:
- Must be EPFO-registered for the first time.
- Monthly wage must be up to ₹1 lakh.
- UAN (Universal Account Number) must be activated.
- Aadhaar-linked bank account is required for DBT.
Employers (Small & Large Enterprises)
- If your enterprise is registered under EPFO and meets these criteria:
- Less than 50 employees: hire minimum 2 new workers.
- 50 or more employees: hire minimum 5 new workers.
- New hires must earn up to ₹1 lakh per month.
PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana Benefits Do Beneficiaries Get?
Part A – For First-Time Employees
- One month’s EPF wage (maximum ₹15,000) awarded in two equal instalments:
- First after 6 months of continuous employment.
- Second after 12 months and completion of financial literacy course.
- A portion of the incentive is locked in a savings instrument to encourage financial discipline
Part B – For Employers Hiring New Talent
- Incentives per employee per month based on salary:
- ₹1,000 if monthly wage is ≤ ₹10,000
- ₹2,000 if ₹10,001 to ₹20,000
- ₹3,000 if wage is ₹20,001 up to ₹1 lakh
PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana 2025 How to Apply Online (Registration & Application Process)
- Starting 1 August 2025, the online employer portal will open on the official EPFO site:
- Provide registration details like company name, PAN, GSTIN, TAN, bank account (PAN-linked), IFSC.
- Agree to digital declaration and complete e-signature verification.
- Submit details of new hires from 1 August 2025 onwards.
- Maintain monthly ECR filings.
- Once validated, incentives get credited to your PAN-linked bank account monthly
